Psalm 47: 6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.

Psalm 66: 1-2 Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious!

Psalm 71: 23 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you – I, whom you have redeemed.

Psalm 147: 1 Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!

Colossians 3: 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Yes! Sing your praises unto God Almighty who is worthy of your praise. Honor God with a lifestyle pleasing to God. Use the life on earth of Jesus the Christ as an example of how to live a pleasing life unto God. Live a pleasing life to God and joy will overflow from you and you will sing praises to God as never before. Day and night your heart will be full of praise and worship.

People are as different as their individual praise and worship moments are different. However combine their voices in hymns and spirituals and you will be blessed by the sound of their singing and so will they and God will be pleased as well.

Refresh yourself today and everyday by getting alone and singing unto the Lord. You will find yourself talking with him on a more personal basis. God wants the relationship he has with you to deepen in understanding and to widen to open up your entire life to him so he can bless you, guide you and show to you how much he loved you in the past, does in the present and will love you forever. You are very important to God. He loved you long before you loved him. He really showed you what love is and how to accept it and to love others with the same love that he loves you with.

Talk to God and learn at his feet about his kind of love he has for you. Learn what true love really is, God is the author of love, who better to learn from? A love that has no beginning or end. A love that asks you to trust God with all you are, have and will become. You could spend a lifetime (and should) just learning of the magnitude of God’s love for you.

Yes, praise God for song and music, a way of expressing our love for God. No matter the day you are having, sing a song of praise and your heart will be blessed.
