The “good news” letter
Sunday, 03/01/09
Hello Readers,
Matthew 28: 18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, “All Power is given unto me in heaven and on earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Amen.
Are you following Jesus’ command to go and teach to all nations and baptize them? You may know that you do not have the gift of teaching, but you do have other gifts from your Father and are you using those to further his kingdom?
The time is drawing near to the end of the age and we all need to be about our Father’s business while we are still here. Pray to the Lord for His direction for the type of service He would have you do. It may be in an area of service that will surprise you, but remember, Christ will supply your needs when the service is of His choosing and He will bless your efforts.
We are now in the last days before Christ’s return. If you have been putting off doing the Lord’s work, get to it, without delay. Think of all the lives which could be saved by you and others saying “YES” to the Lord and letting him work through you to accomplish his plan, not only for others but for you too. You do want to hear the word’s “Well done thou good and faithful servant”, don’t you? Your service, no matter how humble it may be is important to the Lord. Do his service with a cheerful heart and an uplifted spirit so others will see Jesus in you and want the difference they see in you in their lives too. Be ready at all times to let others know why you do what you do and then lead them to faith in the Lord with the gospel. Renew your minds for each day with the reading of his word and put on the whole armor of God so you will be able to better face whatever comes your way.
Be of Good Cheer and part of the harvest.
I implore you, do not wait!
If you have confidential prayer requests, please email them to: denainc@windstream.net . Your prayer request will be laid at God’s throne and the pray that is prayed will be sent back to you.
